Summary: You've seen lake monsters in Europe and the U.S., now how about a beast all the way from South America. Or at least, what some dolts claim to be South America. Point is, there's not much here.

History: Pollution has not been kind to Lake Chimayo in Columbia. Not only is it causing controversy for the big industries there, but it has roused a mutated monster from its rest. Now, people are getting eaten left and right around the lake, and the padding of this film only makes it stronger!

Notable Kills: Takes its sweet time chewing on a woman. A long time, we may add.

Final Fate: The monster is eventually dealt with when it gets baited into going near some explosives. However, an egg has been discovered. One out of several...

Powers/Abilities: None

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-Aside from a perpetually pissed off expression, this weird walrus-reptile thing tends to wobble a lot when it actually IS on camera, and overall looks quite cheap.

Trivia: -In spite of claiming to be based off true events, the village and everything to do with it in this film is purely fictitious.

-There is actually a legend about a lake monster in Columbia. It lives in Lake Tota, and is often called the Diablo Balena (literally "Devil Whale"). It was first sighted by ancient conquistadores, and many others have described it as being everything they fear about demonic sea monsters.
